Maths Week 5 Term 3 2021 Solving word problems

 Another thing we have been  learning in maths is how to solve word problems involving combinations of things. You had to be able to write addition equations showing as many different   combinations as we could. 

Some people found it was useful to do your figuring out using a table. But not the kind of table you eat off-a mathematical table.

 We are learning how to look at numbers, how they work and how you can group them. We did an activity called Numbers as shapes. It’s a bit like algebra thinking. Here is my work:

 Over the last 3 weeks  we have been learning about  statistics  in maths.

I know what a graph needs a title and a x and y axis  label. I know  how to make a statement.

    A graph or chart is easier  to read than data in a table.
